Almas Qureshi

Almas Qureshi is a visionary educator with nearly two decades of experience leading innovation at the crossroads of STEM, EdTech, and international education. She has pioneered transformative initiatives in IB MYP Design and DP Computer Science, empowering students through inquiry-driven learning, real-world applications, and ethical AI integration.

Her work has been honoured by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, on Teachers’ Day, in recognition of her national impact. She is also the recipient of the Best Secondary Teacher in the UAE (2023–24), the STEM Leadership Excellence Award, the Academic Excellence Award by Innoventures Education Group, and the World Scholars Cup Coach of the Year.

Currently on sabbatical, Almas continues to mentor educators, judge academic competitions, and design inclusive resources to support teachers transitioning into IB frameworks. Her leadership blends academic rigour with empathy and purpose—making her a trusted voice in the evolving landscape of education.
